Brilliant Snow Leopard improvement, no one is talking about!
I guess because most of the press coverage of Snow Leopard is made by people in monolingual contexts, I still haven’t read any one refer to this little beauty…
Being a Web designer based in Portugal but with lot’s of English speaking clients, I do communicate trough email in different languages. In the “old” times I use to use the contextual menu “Spelling and Grammar” to change the language in which I was typing, to have all the benefits of the Automatic Spell Check integrated in the OS. This use to be very annoying, I would have to right click, select ”Spelling and Grammar”, then ”Show Spelling and Grammar” and the I would select on a drop down menu the language in which I was going to type… God!! That was annoying!
The good News: In Snow Leopard there’s a brilliant new feature (preset out of the box) which is Spelling check “Automatic by Language” Hurray! No more annoying Spelling and Grammar Language Changes! Im delighted with this… as you can tell! Over & Out!
